We Need Your Input

Your valuable input is needed to help Moree Plains Shire Council develop the Community Strategic Plan for the shire.

The Community Strategic Plan is the highest level plan that the Council will facilitate with the community. The purpose of the plan is to identify our main priorities and expectations for the future and to plan strategies for achieving these goals.

Council will be engaging with state and Federal Agencies/Governments, industry leaders, sporting groups, schools and other community members to develop this plan. As a community, we need to consider the issues and pressures that may impact us and the level of resources that will realistically be available to achieve our goals.

How will this help you and your family?
The Community Strategic Plan will play an integral role in shaping the future of our shire. Services, infastructure, culture and the environment will all be impacted by this plan. This is an opportunity for you to help shape the future of our community.
